Hello,

Are we able to add a primarily affix ( damage type, pull, heal, ect ) by chance that can turn something in to a delayed damage ability?

Essentially cause the ability to trigger after 3-4 seconds and increase the base tooltip to match other similar abilities like this ( curse, shalks, blastbones, backlash).

It would add an entirely new play style option and even fill in the gaps for some classes. Prime candidates for something like this might be abilities like:

- Contignecy
- Soul Burst
- Trample
- Destro Ability

    This would be awesome, especially on the cast delay nukes which desperately need combo enablers.

    I would very much like to see contingency reworked to have an offensive trigger (heavy attack) for damaging versions and defensive trigger (under % health) for healing/shielding versions while giving it's buff up front to enable more buff flexibility for more buff rigid classes

    That sounds awful. I don't want to be required to fully charge a heavy attack for my burst to come out.

    I love contingency as is on live - I think it's one of the best damage skills in the game, and it is incredibly satisfying to use.

    Wouldn't mind an additional script that would allow it to become more delayed, like kained is suggesting. I just wouldn't want to see this applied to the base ability, necessarily.

    doesn't have to be a full heavy. could be something as easy and controllable as a short heavy. Like how maarselok/DLA work. Then instead of it predictably firing right after you cast it, you could mix it up and sneak it into your burst. possibly with an offbalance heavy into a high damage ability like spectral bow.

    Vate 2H, Contingency, Dawnbreaker has been some of the most fun I've had on this game in a hot minute.

    Lining up all 3 you can drop a quick 48-50k tooltip on a group of people in essentially one second
