[SUGGESTION] Furniture items that create spaces inside other items

I've thought for a while now that ESO housing would become so much more interesting if we could add gaps/spaces to furniture items, i.e. place into a house an item which is hollow (e.g. an archway, or perhaps just a box with one of its sides left open), such that the hollow item creates a space in whatever item the hollow item is inserted into.

e.g. you might create, inside a wall, an archway through which a character could walk, by placing the hollow archway item inside the wall item. Or you might want to add a new doorway into a house, then place one of the interactable door items in the new doorway. Another use might be to create alcoves inside walls.

This is probably just an unreal dream, as it would probably involve some fundamental changes to how furniture items interact with each other, but it just sounded like an interesting idea, so I thought I'd share it.

I’d like a trap door I could use to make a ‘basement’ in the Embassy. I’d be fine with it being an extra load screen to get in.

I've no experience with the engine this game uses but based on what I've seen to be possible in even basic javascript, this should be possible, though perhaps complicated.

Think of it in terms of a "magic" portal.

Games which render permanent magic portals which you can walk straight through to the target location without any loading screens tell the game to display what's on the other side of the portal and to move you to that location when you step through.

What you suggested could work the same way to give the illusion of creating a space inside other things. We know from eg. how you can fall through gaps in Grand Psijic Villa that house maps already include substantial dead space. So some of that space could be dedicated to these.
