cannot purchase crown store item

Hi experts,

I'm not able to purchase the antique skill line from crown store. I have maxed out the skill line on one character, but the store says achievement is still not completed. Anyone else experience this issue and/or know how to fix it? is there additional quest I have to do apart from maxing the skill?

You have double checked that BOTH scrying and excavation are at max level?

Yes. Just checked again. Both skills appears to be 10 and yellow bar is full (assuming that’s the max).

Crown store seems to indicate I can buy from my alts (it says, "check other characters"), but when I log to my alts, it says achievement is not complete.

If it's saying 'check other characters', it sounds like you might be seeing a bug. Create a support ticket, and see if ZOS can help you with it.

Also, in case you didn't already know, and my apologies if you did!

: don't create multiple tickets for the same problem because ZOS have a policy to move tickets to the back of their support queue if you do that. Also, request updates for your 1 support ticket at most every 3 days, or it will expire and be automatically closed.

Does the "Skilled Antiquarian" achievement show as completed, but the crown store purchase of skill line says it is not? Or is the "Skilled Antiquarian" achievement still grayed out and not completed, but you feel you have completed the requirements and it should be completed?

What level is the character on which you are trying to purchase skill? I think some skill lines have a level minimums, such as Level 6 or Level 10, so freshly created characters might not be able to purchase it.

Yes, I have created just 1 ticket only.

"Skilled Antiquarian" achievement appears to be grayed out and not completed. When I read the achievement description, it says I have to max out the relevant skills, which I feel I have already done.

I'm trying to purchase the skill from a character that's level 50.

Pls feel free to let me know if you need more info from me.

I'm really grateful to everyone who is looking into this issue for me. Really appreciate it.

If this is greyed out then something is missing. Have you completed the Master of the Eye and the Master of the Spade achievements?

yes, when I search it under achievements i can see that "Master of the Eye" and "Master of the Spade" achievements are shown completed.

When I hover over Master of the Eye and Master of the Spade it shows which of my characters first completed them. Go to your character that it shows completed those and see if their Skilled Antiquarian is complete, because the screenshot you showed says the Skilled Antiquarian achievement has not been completed.

Just tried your instructions. The skill seems already learned on the character that first completed them. Also tried adding the skill points. Still same issue persists - cannot purchase from crown store.

I was looking at this wrong I think.

I thought you needed to log onto a player that has the Skilled Antiquarian achievement, but when I looked at my own it told me to log onto a character that has not aquired the associated skill line. So you just need to have one character that has completed the Skilled Antiquarian achievement then log onto one that doesn't have it to purchase it.

But your screenshot doesn't show that you have ever completed the Skilled Antiquarian achievement. Did you maybe delete a character that had earned this?

Anyway I wish you the best of luck figuring this out.

Sorry didn’t see this reply earlier. The screenshots were taken from my main where the 2 prereq achievements are shown to be completed. The bug I’m reporting is that On that toon, the skilled antiq achieve is still greyed out even though the prereq were done on that toon. So it seems like the roll-up achievement is not triggering. The character was not deleted before.

Not sure what else I’m doing wrong. I thought I just need to max out the skills on one too.
