I noticed that there is another way in which the cards don't quite do as they say. There are a number Druid King cards that care about cards going into the cooldown pile. They will trigger in all kinds of different ways, but won't trigger when cards are put from the hand into the cooldown pile at the end of the turn.
This is all probably intended to function in this way, but it is an oversight nonetheless because the Druid King cards don't state that they care how cards go to the cooldown pile. They just want too see cards going there. So the wording of these cards should be updated or their trigger windows expanded to the discard at end of turn so that the cards actually do what they say. I suppose that there is some ambiguity with Druid King Vestments and Runes of the Draoife because it could hypothetically be the case that the discard at the end of the turn happens after continuous effects that are being applied to the turn end, but this same ambiguity doesn't exist with any of the other cards that care about the cooldown pile since those are continuous effects that are being applied continuously by cards that remain in play through the end of the turn.
Yes, the game pieces should do what they say. I'm still waiting for the Delmene Patron to be corrected as well. Thank you.
P.S. Never let anyone gaslight you by telling you that understanding any game, card, or whatever can be done by just reading the card. There are a collossal number of game pieces that don't just "do what they say." Part of that is because language isn't always necessarily clear. Part of that is because of metarules that clarify interactions. Regardless, the old "just read the card" thing is something that I see once in a while and though the idea does have some wisdom, it's incomplete. These TOT cards are case in point.
