Does anyone have clips of the new merchant assistant? I cannot find any online and I was astonished to find that previewing in the Crown store doesn’t include sample lines! I guess this was not an issue when I hired my Alfiq assistants since I’d interacted with others’ in groups, but this assistant isn’t going to be available for long.

    I don't but I just bought him and love him.

    His voice is a bit comical and his lines are good.

    I bought the original pair - Tyth and Nuzh - yonks ago and was dubious about the value of paying full price for effectively just a cosmetic alternative to a useful function, but I'm happy with this one.

    Though I am very into arcanists so might be slightly biased.

    Does the voice actor voice any other characters in ESO? What are some of the lines?

    most of the assistants usually remain in the crown store after they are added, i dont recall there being a timer on this one but i only briefly looked at it yesterday before instantly dismissing buying it as its far too expensive to spend money on more assistants lol

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    yeah i just looked again (since the crown store stuff is on the website i can do it without logging in the game lol) and it said 6 days left

    would agree that is kind of disappointing

    I recall others also being limited time only. Eventually they returned permanently. He probably will too.

    The assistant previews really need to show what the assistant sounds like.

    I don't know if my Crownstore is bugged or not, but it used to be when you previewed an assistant it would show their "summon animation".

    So for example one of the crow assistants, when you summon them, would arrive in a puff of purple/black daedra smoke.

    I can't see that animation in the preview anymore, but could before.
    The features of the assistant is so important for so many crowns, yet I can't see them in the crownstore.

    So now I have no idea how Xyn arrives when you call him to your side, I like some sort of animation like a portal or puff of smoke, which is why I have the crows. (besides the myriad of other reasons)

    In another thread someone else asked and was answered that he fades in. I've mostly been summoning him while doing mind-numbing writs so I'm about 90% tuned out but that sounds right.

    Like Azandar, when placed in a home he occasionally does magicky things.

    Thank you so much for the offer. I understand what you mean, I think Aderene the Dregs Dealer arrives with a little white portal? I have the two crows so I won't be getting Xyn unfortunately until I can justify the little guy. I do really like him though.

    I think it's criminal that you can't just change your assistant to fit your character instead of buying different ones that do the same damn thing.
