Suspicious happenings in the Imperial City

I was in IC for the event and was hidden while plotting my next move when someone in the same faction as me was running along with someone from another faction. I thought they were fighting one another for a moment, but the player from my faction ran right up to me leading the enemy player right to where I was hidden and then I was quickly killed before they ran off. It certainly looked to me like that was what happened.

I guess this is a thing where friends or guildies from different factions enter IC to help each other find hidden players from their own faction for the other to farm?

It sure sounds like it might be, but unfortunately only the other two players know for sure.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

I suppose you talking of IC No CP. Yes there is at least one guild which is doing these things. It seems this behavior is tolerated by ZOS. The only thing you can do is put them on ignore, spread the word and leave 'em alone, whenever you see them.

If it's an imperial city without cp, then it's the Imperial Wrath guild. they often do this, they believe that the city is their property. Well, they farm stones 24/7 so that they can sell stones on third-party sites after that

Unfortunately, this is what optimized IC farming looks like with these trash Telvar mechanics. Organized boss grinding is the most profitable Telvar farm, PvP only gets in the way and slows your rate, but the biggest threat to that farm isn't even enemy players, it's (unkillable) allied ones splitting your Telvar drops, so you need an organized cross-faction cartel that can also kill all the allied players who aren't part of the cartel.

Yes, I also faced this problem in IC.
A player from my faction invited me to the group and I didn’t mind at all, only after that the blue zerg constantly chased me and killed me. But the most annoying thing, probably, was that when my “comrade” beat the boss in the Arboretum and I came to his aid, he beat the boss along with the enemy. A player from the blue faction immediately reacted to me, killed me, and then they continued to hit the boss on my corpse and just went somewhere further together. This is very unpleasant, it turns out that even in your own faction you can’t trust anyone, and random players who love duels from other factions have more honor and conscience than such “comrades”.
These are the trolls you meet in Cyrodiil, who interfere and leak chat zones to their friends from another faction, and then you go to IR and see the same thing. This is just terrible, the desire to play just leaves the chat.
    P.S. IC with hero points.

Seems like this cancer is spreading...

I personally have no problem to loose TV when my opponent is better than me (as often the case) and the odds are fair.
But this collaboration across alliances is toxic and should be punished by ZOS.
