Emp balance

KingWill90
Okay so I know that emperor is meant to be all big and might however its a little to much at the moment!

Last night a group of 24 were attacking a tower we got through the doors and into the inner keep, we half the front flag and we're moving to the rear flag and then instantly (I am not even exaggerating) all 24 were dead and the Emp had arrived...

This is not very well balanced and should be changed. My suggestion is make the Emp show on the map so there is advanced warning when they are coming and you can prepare. No need to nerf them but at least give people a fighting chance.

I also would like a higher reward to kill emporer and former emporer maybe they triple points for emporer kills and the double point for former emporer kills ;)

You have to have the right build and strategy to take down an emperor. There is no one way to do it either, some people are more suited than others.

If you're running up on a vamp nightblade, they're gonna siphon all 24 of you and never die. DK can inhale and drain and pop dragons blood, etc.

Before we start nerfing more stuff, let's experiment a bit and see what we can come up with.

I would challenge any Emperor to get cured from their Vampire abilities, after 1.1 goes live, and then show us how to skillfully play. So far I have seen many players who abused the Bat Swarm stacking to suddenly not know how to play their class skillfully, because they were so used to these broken bugs.

I have to laugh at the situation though, as soon as you remove Vampire from most of these players, their skill level takes a nose dive, I wonder why ;-)

Imo its primarily the 200% ultimate gain ability that is the issue. A player that is really tough to kill with regular abilities is not a huge problem (although it is still a problem imo and should never have been included in such an extreme form) it's when they can drop multiple consecutive extremely high damage ultimate abilities combined with an optimised survivability and ultimate reduction gear build.
