The flame and frost atronach crates are here, so when they cycle through the rotation.

Nope, sorry, welcome to FOMO. Buy it when it shows up at the ridiculous price listed or wait 5 years for it to show up again. It's basically baked into the business model at this point.

EDIT: the five years is not an exaggeration. It debuted for four days in October 2017, came again for a week in 2018, then came back in May 2022 for another eight days. That's a total of 19 days available in seven years.

I'm surprised it doesn't come back more often. The shadowghost mounts were originally released for Halloween and while I think they don't look out of place at any time of the year (which is one reason I like them) I think it would make sense to bring them back every Halloween as an alternative to the more 'strongly themed' mounts.

October tends to be the month I'm least likely to find anything I want in the crown store because I'm not interested in gory or death themed items, but I did buy all the shadowghost mounts and I'm sure there's other people who would do the same if they were given the chance.

I'd agree with previous posters pegging this as too popular to return to the crown store and more likely to end up in a crate.

The shadowghost horse is one of the few things I bought with crowns for gold back when the exchange rate wasn't nuts. Would have bought others in that line if I'd caught them in the store. They're beautiful.

It doesn't glow with the intensity of twelve supernovas like many of their more recent offerings so some players might regard them as too plain for crates and to justify the kind of hefty effective price tag the crown store goblins would want to attach to it.
