Blazing Spear Immobilize Instead of Luminous Shards?

Would it not be better for the proposed immobilize on Spear Shards to be placed on the Luminous Shards morph? Figured that's the default support morph would be better since its not really used much by tanks or healers since it shares a synergy cooldown with Necrotic Orb. Any Templar DPS who are also using Blazing Spear might mess with add positioning chucking their spears out and what not. Might be missing something but I don't really get why this morph in particular is getting the immobilize. PVP wasn't mentioned at all in the week one notes so it can't be that.

No because that is for synergy and is better for the damage morph

Nah, Luminous is inferior. Even my healplar prefers using Blazing, as she finds the extra damage and restoring primary resource preferable to groups over less damage and restoring both resources. And, while the immobilize will be welcome, it would not improve Luminous enough for me to slot it over Blazing on my healer.

I'd recommend adding immobilize to both morphs. If you want to get my healer to slot Lumionous over Blazing though, then Luminous needs more help than that. Perhaps adding a nice (non synergy) HoT for the full duration of Luminous might get my attention.

If anything, putting the immobilize on blazing might push some healers to switch from blazing to luminous, to avoid interfering with the tank's crowd control.

That's kind of what I'm getting at really, true tanks don't really care about damage anyway so it would be better if the mobilize was on luminous. Healers at least have the offensive stats to be able to take advantage of the extra damage on blazing spear and sustain isn't really that hard in this version of the game you want to restore both resources. I just feel like if both the healers and DPS are running this skill that's meant to help tanking and soft CC you could run into some issues

My healer uses Luminous to put resources right at the tank's feet instantly. I don't want to interfere with his/her ability to crowd control.

If it was on Luminous, magplar healers would be immobilizing the enemies by giving the tank shards—not necessarily what the tank would want.

Maybe they should have put it on one of the morphs of Sun Shield, a tankyish skill.

Ok this I actually like. Void bash/ritual centered DC/that new scribing magicka pull into Radiant Ward would be pretty shnasty
