One bug for Azandar prevents you from getting three achievements

I know I know this should be in the bug category but this seriously needs to get addressed. For an entire month this companion is bugged with trying to interact with an Ayelid well. Being near or interacting with the Well does not gain progress and thus you are unable to get three achievements for it. Can we please get a confirmation if this upcoming maintenance patch is going to fix the issue?

Make sure you are using the same character than has maxxed rep with him to do the well. I had a similar issue with Bastian and I discovere it was because the toon I did everything else with him on hadn't unlocked Eyevea so i took him on another character which marked it as done on the achievement but didn't complete the overall achievement and give me his passive skill.

I got it just fine,not maz level and not max rapport.Well was the 2nd thing done in that list for me,so I tested to see if it might be a bug that 1 thing won't complete,but it completed fine.So It must be a rare bug,if you seem to be one of the first ppl I seen talk about it.

Same problem too, opened a ticket but let's leave aside the answer. I tried to summon all my companions and tried in many places, the result was to have wasted two hours for nothing.

I have the same problem. I can't complete this achievement because of this "Interact with an Ayleid Well" bug with Azandar.

It's broken for me since Update 40 came out on PC-NA.

Still broken. Any news when this will be fixed? I understand that during the last updates, severe bugs with the Archive were more important (I have experienced it myself how annoying it is not to be able to progress to the next map because the verse doesn't show up...), but I think now this companion bug could finally get the attention it deserves.

Two months of Azandar's favor being bugged

I kept seeing people say they would get the progress on the achievements by using Bastien or Ember at an Aylied Well, so I tried interacting at every Aylied Well with all three; Bastien, Ember and Azandar. And none of them work. So I definitely believe that it's due to the game reversing the check on whether you own Necrom or not, as they all said that they didn't even own Necrom at that point. That seems to be the common denominator involving this bug. If you own Necrom it's impossible to get now, and if you don't you get it super easily.
That's probably why they refuse to comment about this bug, because it would admit that someone was messing around with something that was already fixed that really had no reason to be messed around with.

I'm wondering what the exact problem is that causes this bug. Is it whether a well has been found/activated (and marked as such on the map) before?

The achievement is supposed to be you have activated the well while Azandar is the active companion. However, the check is misflagged - instead of awarding the achievement progress if Azandar is currently active, it awards it if Azandar is uncollected.

I got the check for mine well before I even unlocked him. That also means that accounts who have already unlocked Azandar on one or more of their characters are barred from this achievement until the flag is fixed.

Thanks. Sounds like fixing it wouldn't be too complicated, let alone require excessive testing. Sad they haven't done anything about it yet.

I got the achievement just recently myself. Last few weeks. So if it still bugged it's not preventing everyone from getting it.

And I did the achievement on a character who had collected Azanadar.

That said I was once stuck on a main quest in this game that only affected male bosmer characters. Bugs can be perversely specific.
