PTS Update 42 - Bug Reports for Lucent Citadel Trial

During trash several players would get dark auras, that did not seem to be visisble to the group.as a whole, did not show up on character sheet, and did nothing we could discover.

On the final fight, if people died while holding the knot, visually they would still appear to be holding the knot. This was seen by the whole group and would persist through a wipe

The "arcane knot" debuff would also persist through death, and some people had a duration showing as lasting 49,710 days, 6 hours, 15 minutes

We experienced a couple of glitches last night where the first boss massive room wiping AoE did not actually display on the first couple of pulls so we had no indicator to jump on a pad.

A little later we could see the AoE on the floor as expected.

Luminous Citadel has a large amount of particle FX effects. It is fine at first but once the bright crystal minions appeared in the mid, at least a few players in my group had heavily motion sickness and aching eyes when watching the effects.

Which encounter or monster caused this? Feel free to post a screenshot or video if you have one handy.

i have to agree here.. i can handle the mirror mechs on first boss fine, but i felt the same thing with it being a bit much. its the same with the mobs in Leftwheal. it was just too much crystal and refractivity.. i would love to dial that down somewhat..

I dunno the whole crystal effects kind of feels really tacky like when you persistently summon Shiva in FFVIII.. after a while that shattering mirror becomes headache inducing..

we had the problem that always 2 or 3 people had the knot visual over their head so it was really hard to tell who really has it. didn´t reset when we wiped.
there was a bug too where you got no visual clue that you picked the knot up, you didnt see the circle of the dome.

The sounds of this ball at the second boss and the Null Arca can trigger a seizure for some player. One of our group needed to close the game because of this. Maybe soften those sounds a bit?

Hey gang! Absolutely love the new trial so far. Have run it a few times already and will definitely be running it hundreds of times more on Live.

If your character dies after the second boss (Cavot Agnan) during the Ghost Light platform puzzle, you can respawn at the Wayshrine and take a portal back to the second boss room. However, the Ghost Light synergy will then behave differently. Specifically, it will allow you to skip the entire tower and the mobs after that. See video below:

This bug was produced 22April2024 at 12:41 AM EST. I did it by accident (gotta free spawn at Wayshrine to save those PTS soul gems); however, the whole raid team was able to then replicate this behavior.

We cleared the third boss and were able to run away with the Knot as usual; skipping the trash between B2 and B3 had no apparent effect on the "escort the payload" part of the trial.

I have to query.. on vet Ryelaz and Zilyesset..

Is it an intended mechanic that the Adds are able to walk through the mirror to the other side after a room swap mechanic?

I note the bosses themselves can't do that, but if adds are taunted on one side prior to the room swap.. they run through the mirror to the other side to meet the tank that had taunt on them prior to the swap.. over stacking the amount of adds on one side..
