Good question. And, is using it as it is now considered a reportable exploit? I think it should be.

Using it with the skill that bugs it out would be, but just using the set as is without said skill isn't an exploit as the set functions normally without that skill.

Yeah exact show how bad eso community is. Not to leave a bug, to be a bug and wait until fix. No, 70% farming the set to "abuse" it.

All this Player are narcissism. Talking about Procs and how bad they are, but over "abuse" every Proc bug in eso history.

Say again, Stop heal stack, stop crossheal and stop free demage proc sets. And then you see this heroic players mass dying^^

Calling this an exploit isn’t IMO what it is. This is a failure of ZOS’s testing department. You don’t have to do anything goofy to make it happen. If ZOS banned for people just putting on a set and skill they would be in the wrong. There isn’t another step besides equipping a set or skill. 💯 of this issue is on them not the player base. Does it suck , yes is it an exploit, not at all. It will be fixed but till then hold block and stay away from sub 30k heath VD bombs.

This is a different kind of bug than ones you had extra steps to make happen.

Seeker Synthesis and Clever Alchemist are two sets that would naturally go together when building around potions but people got banned for that so.

the problem isnt the set proc itself, which is actually pretty low dmg, its the exploit going on with it thats the problem (and yes i say exploit because that is how zos is officially treating it)

the issue will be resolved next monday

I think the hard part to say someone exploited is to prove intent over incidental use. Then again; this isn't a legal matter and could be interpreted at ZOS discretion

It literally happened to me, I got bombed by the set and other set proc and I thought it was possible and I was hyped about bomb with my templar... I killed two or three guys and one told me it was a bug and exploit that it is been discussed in the forums so I came here and I saw this and I stopped using it, and I killed two or three guys only. I deconstructed the tarnished set and I am not gonna use it anymore tbh. And tbh Im a little bit scared because I used it before check it is a bug.

Someone can say "how do you know which build use only with the death recap?" I am not gonna say this because I would be promoting the bug and I saw in the forums that ZOS doesnm't want this, but it is pretty obvious wich skill and sets are causing this...

Edit: it would be a super absurd way to lose an 8 years old account tbh... I hope if they ban, permabans are for people who totally abused it and If I need to bebanned at least some days okay, I used it without knowing, but I dont want my acc deleted.

I think you're missing what the person you have quoted is saying.

Nobody is disputing what you have quoted but I don't think that applies to Tarnished.
