concerning cyrodiil repair kits

Hi guys I know its a small thing but did we ask for these?
I know its QOL in some respects, but I for one don't like them because I feel its further dumbing down of the strategy side of the game. Having top have the right repair for the right item needed and having to carry more is good thing imo. I have seen the tides turn before when opponents don't have the right kits and the seige merchant is dead, now that side is gone.
Does anyone else have any thoughts?

    I'm happy they changed it. The problem was the limited amount of quickslots you have. I wouldn't have minded keeping them all separate if they added a quickslot wheel just for siege, but this solution works too. The extra inventory slots it frees up is a nice bonus.

    I asked for these back when they introduced siegable bridges and milegates, adding a new repair kit. I think the unified repair kit is great.

    Micromanaging repair kits isn't the kind of strategic element I welcome. Especially because we're constantly stuck in combat.

    I don't consider this dumbing down the game. If we weren't so often stuck in combat, it would be largely a non-issue.

    The combat changes the past 8 years with the explicit goal of raising the floor and lowering the ceiling are what have dumbed down the game.

    also this repair kit is bugged atm and doesn't repair bridges and mile gates. def bridges people report target out range.

    Repair kits haven't been impactful in terms of tactics since they removed repairing walls/doors above 95% even when they are being sieged.

    If anything the problem currently is that this will make it even less impactful taking down a milegate / bridge because everyone will have the kits to repair them. I think they should make the milegates take 3x the amount of siege damage since it takes so long to knock them down vs repair them.

    Yes I did ask for these, no there was no meaningful strategy in antiquated quick slot design.
