The forced attached windows in the Agony's Ascent Tower, naturally doesn't have the lighting effect as far as I know...soo i went and bought the furnishings from a vendor in fargrave and spent maybe 600k just to cover all the default windows with the same window just to give the lighting appearance. Sometimes it works.. but most the time, the lighting effect does not work at all. I could relog, preview it, load it in another house and it wouldn't work..sometimes it would. i'd teleport back to see again and nope, not working.
sorry about the one image but it's the only one i got where the lighting is actually working!

Just question, did you tried changing time in the house throught hourglass?
To see when windows light effect not work (except midnight ofc)?
maybe it will help the developers if they know what time it's not working.
when the windows are adjusted, that at midnight the effect disappears, maybe there is something wrong at other times.

These windows, like any other window furnishing depend on WEATHER. Not time of day. If it is cloudy, rainy etc. it does not cast a light. If it is for example bright moon or sun is shining, it casts a light.
It is so annoying because we cannot do anything to change the weather. It is not a bug, it is how these type furnishings work.

Interesting I thought that is only about time of the day. Because the angle of light effect changes during the day and also if you set midnight, windows just turn off light.

But weather is interesting, last I made house in stormhaven but for me it was usualy night in the game (i didn't have the addon for time. So I just knew there was a 4x faster time in the game) and It wasn't the first hourglass for tickets yet. And inside the house, I didn't know what the weather was like. So I was just guessing the time when the windows turned off.

Windows have 2 sides. If the front side is facing out the light will shine through. If the back side is facing out the light won't shine through.

Yes, I tried the chronological time furnishing and tried every single one. It would not work.

I'd flip them around multiple times and the lighting effect wouldn't show on either side

I've tested it on Fair-Winds. clear and sunny day. each time as well. The lighting effect still would not appear
