Torc of the Last Ayleid King
1 – Disable all other item set bonuses and increase your damage done by 20%, reduce your damage taken by 20%, and increase your healing done by 20%.

After taking another look at this thing it's really not too bad. It actually offers a lot of power. My issue is with the allocation of that power. It gives one offensive bonus and TWO defensive bonuses. I would like to see the +20% damage mitigation bonus traded out for a +20% mag/stam sustain boost. That would make it much easier to make a viable build, as there are ample other sources of damage mitigation.

Thanks!

Ket

Not as bad? Minor slayer + velothi and you have +20% damage on monsters, this is offensive wise UNPLAYABLE

I'm mostly coming from a PvP perspective where the defensive bonuses have quite a lot of value.

It literally removes every bonus you have on including 2,3,4 and 5 peice bonuses..that 20%isnt even close to making up for all that stat loss etc

I'm aware of what the mythic does. It actually does come quite close to the value of those set piece bonuses.

Here is how I am doing the comparison..

Reference Build: Rally front bar. Wretched back bar. 2pc Ozezan monster. DDF mythic. 1 trainee.

Due to the fact that 2-4pc bonuses are standardized we can assume 129 wd/sd is equivalent to 1487 penetration is equivalent to 4% healing done etc etc. Using that as a baseline, we can mentally convert all the set piece bonuses in the build above into an equivalent amount of penetration (for the sake of easy math).. the number I came up with was in the ballpark of 40k penetration, which theoretically translates to about +60% damage. Compared to the 20/20/20% the mythic is offering. The value is similar, just allocated differently.

The DDF build is about 10% stronger according to my math. Once you convert that pen back into 20% mitigation and 20% "healing done" you end up with about 10% more power budget vs the mythic.

Again I'd like to see the mitigation bonus turned into a stam+mag sustain bonus.

Not sure if this thread had anything to do with it but regardless I think you guys nailed it with the week 5 changes! Seems the clear BiS mythic for no-proc cyro & IC. Looking forward to farming it and trying it out.

i figured it would be pretty decent before for no proc cyro, but i dont think ive seen any discussion about the most recent changes

i agree with the new changes it seems like a clear winner for no proc cyro

    It's broken atm.

Weapon/Spell damage is only increased on the character sheet, but not in actual combat. Recoveries are only increased on preview mouseover, but not after equip or in combat.

Seems like when it says "disable all other set bonuses" they madi it disable ALL other set bonuses, even its own other set bonuses.

So the only effect it has is reducing damage taken by 15% and disabling all other sets.

Would like to be able to properly test this mythic with it working as intended. Feel as if it went from useless to potentially Overtuned. The tooltips I was seeing with this mythic on were pretty high considering it also has 15% damage reduction and high recoveries.

Well, now it will be usefull at least for no-proc campaigns, because having whole seperate build just for these was annoying.
