i just completed the quest, got the shield in my inventory, however the furnishing is not in my inventory. Where did it go?

it is in your 'collections' instead of your inventory. if you go to your house, you will be able to place it from the furnishing editor. you will be able to place only one in each house, but can also place it in all of your houses.2 -
