    To the beautiful Madam Whim,

Fa-Nuit-Hen seems like he actually cares about his Barons and misses them. But he can't possibly care in the same sense that a mortal would care about a loved one, could he? I was under the impression that daedra are not capable of this. You yourself give off the impression that you don't really "care" about your customers, you only care about the payment that's offered.

The best rumor I've ever heard about such things involved a certain Malkur Valos, of the Mages Guild, who claims he was raised by an Aureal (Golden Saint). Considering how "prickly" Saints tend to be, it seems even more of a ridiculous notion to believe that one would care enough to raise a mortal child.

    Any insights?

    Sincerely,

A Wanderer (writing from an undisclosed location)

    To the esteemed Madam Whim,

In virtually every statue of Malacath, the prince is seen wielding a long sword, which we have heard little about in comparison to his other weapons, such as Scourge or Volendrung. In ancient times the warrior Trinimac was said to have wielded the sword Penitent, the Blade of Courage, before he was transformed into Malacath. What can you tell us of Malacath's greatsword, and if it has any relation to the ancient blade of Penitent?

Fa-Nuit-Hen once said that Sotha Sil and the Baron Who Moves Like Heat Lightning fought alongside him against the "Borers from Within" and "The Hinged Ones", can you tell us anything about these mysterious entities?

The Glass Fragments within the Bedlam Veil are unlike anything I've ever seen, and I have no idea if they are like atronachs in nature! Are they composed of standard glass or a more volcanic glass, such as Malachite?

    Thank you for your time,
Sir Cyandor F. of Seyda Neen

    Dear Madam Whim,

What a pleasure! It is a delightfully novel opportunity to pen questions to a Daedra of your experience and standing.
The story of the god Trinimac's transformation to the Daedric Prince Malacath is well-known, but my question pertains to the one who facilitated that transformation: another Daedric Prince, Boethiah.

When the Prince of Plots devoured Trinimac, she was able to take on the appearance of the god. But is it possible that Boethiah extracted any other benefits (or perhaps suffered any consequences) from this meal? I wonder if the Prince of Plots had no other motives in the act of eating a god, which must be no light snack, even to a Daedric Prince.

    Yours truly,
    Alexandra Eldro, unabashed Daedrophile

The God of Curses, you say.

Are they responsible for non-stackable treasure maps?

    Greetings, Madam Whim

I have read texts that describe the Daedric Prince Malacath as "He Who Speaks Sideways". This title has always fascinated me. Do you know why he is given such an interesting name?
