HELP STILL BANNED

Hi I’m really starting to stress out over this I’m missing the entire pvp event that I wait all year and took time off for. For what can only be assumed as the transmute crystals.

I had over 70-80 reconstructed arena weapons before the event began and regardless of which ones I destroyed there is no way I exceeded that amount and “ duplicated crystals “ I’ve been waiting 6 days now with no response other than he patient. Surely something can be done I have almost 500 days playing time and no prior bans, I’ve spent so much money on eso plus and countless micro transactions and it’s really not fair to just leave me in the dark like this.

How long does it really take to reset the transmute crystals which I’ve apparently spawned when as previously mentioned I already had 70-80 reconned weapons before the event.

This is beyond unfair @ZOS_Suserial @ZOS_Bill @ZOS_Kevin

@ZOS_Bill might be able to help facilitate a conversation for an attempt to appeal the ban which seems to be what you are seeking.

    @Amottica

Yes that would be fantastic, I’ve taken time off work to play the pvp event and I’m just sitting here for supposedly cheating when I categorically was not cheating

i bought a bunch of base games at 5.99 on sale. if you buy ten of them you can have 5 guilds with 500 guild bank spaces each and store everything without the need for eso+. lots to do to put a crafter on each account. def keep you busy and out of trouble with no time for events.

This is really stressful because all I’m being told is it’s under review and they’re busy. But I’ve sent tickets regarding other things on another account and got human contact within 6 hours. As soon as I mention being banned it’s like the ticket gets moved to low priority and gets ignored.

Has anybody received any actual outcome to this? Or are we just all sitting here like melons checking email 100 times a day

Considering people are losing accounts with 500+ days of progress you would think this issue would be high priority but I’m not so sure

Find a new hobby to sink into while you wait. Pick up that task you were procrastinating on. Waiting sucks but there's honestly nothing we can do but wait. So don't make yourself feel like you're serving some sort of internet jail time. Things come and go. Your life has meaning without this game, and in the end ESO should be the last thing you need to stress about.

...so what was that about starting that support group for banned people? x)

I agree however I took time off work to play the pvp event and now I’m just sitting here like cool, while all my friends are playing.

The funny thing is I’ve heard from people who didn’t deconstruct but absolutely abused the crafting nirncrux weapons and yet no ban.

It’s like ok you can get extra transmutes if you wait 2 weeks but 1 day oh no absolutely not. The people that waited are the ones who actually realised it was an exploit too

I expect Zenimax has many accounts to review which takes time. So the time in processing regular tickets does not reflect on tickets related to appeals such as this.

While it may seem some might have gotten away with abusing the exploit I take comments concerning exploits with a grain of salt and Zenimax may still be looking for more accounts that abused the exploit.

    Good luck.

Thanks, definitely sucks because I took time off work to play the event and just sitting here unable to play when I know that resetting the transmutes would take about 5 minutes

Call your boss up and say your vacation plans got cancelled, ask if you can come back to work.

Well I’m hoping that I can still be unbanned In time to play some of the event, I think about 5/6 days remaining now. Checking my emails multiple times a day but starting to lose hope lol

We are not even waiting on appeals, we are waiting on results of their investigation, as we are "suspended pending investigation" and there's nothing to appeal as of yet as there is no decision. We actually don't even know the reason for the ban, outside of some TOS quotes that can mean literally anything. All replies we got so far in regards to the situation is that we must sit and wait and the support will follow up with us. So basically nothing.

I tried sending an account recovery ticket on Friday but so far that ticket has been completely ignored. Only "updates" I got are in regards to the original ticket from email and only after poking by replying to said email and asking here on forums.

One would think that with a massive ban wave like this they would allocate all the available resources for it. And yet not one person banned got a resolution as of yet.

Then it seems we all have the answer. That is nothing more can be done until they finish the investigation. It would stand to reason that they would not move forward on any of the related tickets until the investigation is completed.

Again, sorry this ban wave is keeping OP from the PvP event and inconveniencing others.. As a long-time gamer, I do support developers taking exploiting seriously.

Yup still waiting for a decision really don’t understand why it’s taking so long or given any idea as to when we might get one by zos moderators on this forum.
    Welp

Hi All, we are closing this thread as there are a few started under the same general principle. However, we are going to share a follow up from another thread. That response is quoted below.

Hey all, we are going to close this thread down as this is not something that will be solved in a forum thread. We do want to offer some clarity around the issue of bans here however. First, we want to note that no bans have actually been given out. Currently, a very small number of accounts are subject to an investigation regarding the transmute crystals issue during the Crafter's Celebration. Those under investigation have been temporarily suspended during the investigation period and have been notified of this. Those impacted will be notified once the investigation is over and will receive further instruction. Please be patient as we work to conclude the investigation.
