Block / Sprint / Combat Bug

I am having the following bug repeatedly happen to me, both in Cyrodil, In Veteran Dungeons and in overland.

I am stuck in combat
I cannot block at all, as in the button does nothing
I cannot sprint (particularly annoying in Cyrodil)

Does anyone know how to avoid it? The only trigger seems to be leaving combat alive. But then has happened to me mid-combat while tanking a Veteran Dung leading to wipe too. Thanks All.

This may seem like a flippant answer, but if you want to avoid it, simply find another game. This has been an ongoing issue for nearly a decade and isn't likely to be fixed. Save your time and aggravation and just don't bother.
