    Not sure where I sit on jabs anymore. Really; I feel like most melee spammables are just not as strong over ranged ones any more, then in PVP, it's more about the burst skills you can combo, and/or line up procs.

    Truth be told, I just don't like any of the classes much anymore. It's become too much of somehow homogeneous while lopsided in balance

    There’s no way your non-execute DPS stayed the same. If it did, your DPS including execute would have increased by like 40%. And if that’s the case, your rotation is so far from optimal that it’s not even relevant. You’re probably ignoring the fact that the dummy gives more buffs/debuffs now, so you’re comparing completely different scenarios.

    It’s literally a fact that Templar DPS has been backloaded into execute. It’s why parses start beaming at 40% now. Jabs damage, including procs, has been obliterated. (And it’s the worst animation I have ever seen in any game.)

    This. I don't want to complain too much about Templar because they've been nerfed so much the past few years, but god damn. Beam is ridiculous. It does Executioner level damage, but from ranged, and ticks 3 times a second (I think) and it can't be dodged (I'm pretty sure). If you're around 35-40% hp in pvp, you're dead to a Templar. It's become so annoying playing melee builds against them.

    It's like if Sorc's execute scaled from 50% instead of 20%. Everyone use to complain about them being insanely good at kill stealing, but Templar has 100% stole that position now.

    They've put wayyyyyyy too much of Templars power in this gigantic execute phase where they're next to useless before it.
