The finally made it full circle and buff sorc has finally come to fruition. Im gonna lay out these delicious buffs we'll be getting soon:

Major and Minor Vitality: Updated these buffs to increase healing received and damage shield strength by 6/12%, rather than increasing healing received by 8/16%.

Restraining Prison (morph):
Renamed this morph to Vibrant Shroud.
This ability now heals allies in the area with the same healing potency of Blessing of Protection, rather than attempting to Immobilize enemies.
This morph will continue to apply Major Maim to enemies in the area for 10 seconds and will also apply Minor Vitality to allies who were healed by the ability for 10 seconds.
Increased the cost to 4860, up from 4050.

Conjured Ward: This ability and the Hardened Ward morph will now heal you for 15% of your Max Health or Magicka (whichever is higher) if no pets were shielded by the abilities.

Daedric Minefield (morph):
Renamed this morph to Daedric Refuge.
The “mines” the ability places are now “wards” that activate when you or an ally walk over them, granting them a damage shield for 6 seconds, rather than activating to deal damage and immobilizing when an enemy walks over them.
Allies cannot be affected by one of the wards more than once every two seconds, to prevent situations where a singular ally could take multiple shields immediately.
The shield uses the higher of your Max Magicka or Stamina and is capped at 43% of the target’s Max Health.

This passive now increases your Max Health by 5/10% while you have a summoned pet of any kind, up from 4/8% when you have a Daedric Summoning ability active.
This passive now also increases your Max Magicka and Stamina by 5/10% while you do not have a summoned pet of any kind.

So with vitality our shields will finally be able to take multiple hits and it will actually feel like a shield and not a piece of paper. Cherry on top is a burst heal. Restraining prison will FINALLY be useful so we're not pigeon held into streak for our only CC [edit: i read it wrong, Vibrant Shroud does not CC its a AOE heal and debuff] . It'll give 10% less damage done from enemies + buff your shield and doesnt even need the CC to go off to get the buffs, this is amazing for small scale. Mines changes are debatable, but when was the last time we actually used mines that wasnt in the imperial city patch days or before? Either way its a welcome changed and will be worth experimenting for sure. Pet bros will get 10% extra HP and gigachad lone wolfs will get 10% max mag/stam, uh maz in! Anyway, welcome back sorc mains.

I’m not keen on the change to Restraining Prison as I just started using it on my sorc tank. The change to the shield is nice, but I wanted improvements to lightning DPS skills more than heals added to class skills.

Undodgable execute mayhaps? :open_mouth: or maybe boundless purges on activation? agreed! #buffsorc

I wish they buffed the explosion on Endless Fury right now it can’t kill anyone thanks to the undeath passive. Really good changes though.

only way to make endless fury lethal is to run kvatch gladiator, but then youre just an ef spamming kill stealer

no honor (or fun) in that

they need a shock dmg set that is competitive for pvp (not another proc set for the love of god)

Funnily enough Sorc was already the best PVP healing class in its old, nerfed state.

Weird because on my stam sorc I was using essence thief trickery and essence and rally cry, crit surge reaving blows pale order and rally and vigor. Still can't outheal the dot meta. The only hard counter to dots is to run away. Guess im doing something wrong or I don't know the secret sauce that unlocks this best pvp healing.
