xbox na, high mmr, consists of 15-30 players, tops.
literally see the exact same crew of 10 ppl any time i log in, which is maybe 3 times per week.
it can be 11 am on a Tuesday, these 10 are on.
over the past few months, all but 2 have gone full nightblade, and no longer focus on objectives. theyre in it to rack up as many kills as possible, mostly against ppl playing for objectives, or the occasional random players whove been placed too high for their experience level.
The 2 who havent changed to nb are a dk and the classic dizzy spamming stam sorc.
i wish them all well, and appreciate the good, competitive, fun matches weve had the past year or so. However, the nb gankfest is no longer entertaining. Not sour grapes. Ive been maining a tanky magden lately who doesnt die much and often wins matches with the highest score and also a respectable kd ratio. But it’s just too 1-dimensional these days. I dont blame the players for following the meta, but I do think the very narrow and unbalanced nature of the current meta is responsible for this singularly uninteresting and unfun plateau.
My point: bgs & class balance are in shambles
It just doesnt feel like the dev team is really invested in making this part of the game fun and dynamic.
