Why am I getting 19 XP from a Novice NPC win and 20 XP from an Expert win?

According to old (seemingly outdated) sources I should be getting way way higher XP than that; was XP gain changed to be based on game duration or something?

There's no way drastically more difficult opponents should give the same XP as the easiest right?

i havent paid much attention to the xp gain since im already rank 8 (max), but i can tell you that the AI between novice/proficient/expert/master are like 85-90% identical and they all feel pretty easy for the most part lol

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

The difference in difficulty between "easy" novice and "hard" expert is about the same as the XP difference. I play expert because the novice NPC takes forever to play each turn. Expert moves faster.
