there is no reason you have to solo to farm gear (in fact running with other people that are willing to share drops = significantly faster completion especially for stuff like trials)
curation definitely improves this experience, though there is still a significant portion of gear from places like IC and cyro that are not curated which makes it a pain

some of those dlc WBs can be tricky but not too bad, though i would recommend mostly farming public dungeon bosses for weapons (there are a few drops you can only get from WBs, but its easier/faster to farm public dungeon bosses for weapons)
Try public dungeon bosses, they're significantly easier than world bosses and still drop weapons. Also use zone events to your advantage - you get extra drops and there's always people at bosses. The gear is cheap in traders too if you get bored. Theres also a lot if people queuing for the zone dungeons so it's a good time to pug thise too. I've been using events to fill my stickerbook for the last couple of years to make them a bit more interesting and just Galen to go now!

I've been camping on public dungeons, im not having trouble with public dungeons, im having problems with minor DLCs such as clockwork city right now

Many of the overland sets can be gotten cheap from guild traders, it may be worth a try. The minor DLC zones are problematic in regard to world bosses, as they don't see much use outside of events.
Necrotech_Master wrote: »the other suggestion i have if you need to farm overland gear (especially for those zones which have missing curation spots such as clockwork city) is the infinite archive
the archive gets 2 overland sets per week (1 base game and 1 DLC) and fully curate the sets it drops, going through arc 1 you would get 4 pieces of set gear and 1 class set gear

I know about trading, been spent many gold into collecting minor DLC sets such as bahraha curse and briarheart the problem is im guildless and it so burocratic to do trading. its just like a race you have to be faster then other buyers. I've tried TTC for quite some time. People are overcharging for a single piece. like 40K 50K I dont have much of that gold neither know what to farm for

I think that may be the case as Briarheart is still considered useful. Getting Briarheart pieces is relatively easy though, since you can just farm the public dungeon(s) in Wrothgar.
I'm guildless as well and while it is a bit of work to find the pieces, I think it's worth it if you truly want to complete the stickerbook. Also, don't rely completely on TTC... some bargains can often be found on guild traders a bit away from the main cities.
Sorry can't help, different server, but talking about small DLCs Murkmire is the only Overland Sticker-book I'm missing, and I miss A LOT of pieces.
Can do it solo but it takes too long; I'm waiting for an event with double drops.
Have you already completed that? It seems the most tedious to me...

There's no secret, just do content until you got everything from it It is not hard, just time consuming.
Honestly I'm not sure what you expect from a forum where everyone is on different platforms, and you haven't even said what realm you're playing. There's been lots of really good tips posted here but if all you want is someone to hold your hand I don't know what to tell you.
Actually yes, the delve dailies give gear and even those for the empty dlc zones are easy to solo. The crow ones in CWC don't even need combat mostly. It'll take a while for the right pieces to drop but it's something. Also there's the guilds section of the forum to find a guild to suit you and the group finger now in game
