Should sorc streak be amiable?

I've been looking at a lot of sorc discussions lately. One of the things I'm wondering if people would enjoy or not is if streak could be multidirectional based on how your character is moving, the same as how dodge roll aims. Or if they think having it locked to just streaking forward is how it should be?

Malyore✭✭✭✭✭Streak in any direction (like dodge roll does)I think it could make combat more fun and a bit more active to be streaking/blinking around in any x-axis direction (I don't wanna streak strait up or anything lol). I don't play much pvp and am not sure the entire implications of being multidirectional with it, but I imagine since streak leaves a trail and with cc immunity that it wouldn't cause too much pain in unpredictability. Especially since people can still turn the camera to angle it, this instead just allows you to not have to shift your whole camera around (maybe thats just a console player issue) Maybe it should just be kept to a single morph, I dunno if ball of lightning would become a PVP issue? Thats why I wanted others input on the idea.0

✭✭Keep streak forward onlyStreak is already laggy with all the factors it has to consider to resolve whether you have a valid location to jump to. Roll dodge is no different from moving—if you roll dodge over a small ditch, you fall into the ditch. Whereas streak checks if there's land across from the ditch, which it sometimes struggles with even without having to first check which direction you're moving in.
As far as usage, I prefer being able to aim it by moving left and right, and seeing clearly where I'll land by lining it up. That wouldn't be possible if strafing made you streak sideways off-camera.
Not a bad idea, but it would rule out a lot of control that we have over our landing position.PC-NA

✭✭✭✭✭Keep streak forward onlyStam has a greater ability to dodge roll while magika has the availability of some good shields.
We do not need to homogenize the skill streak with the dodge roll. We have seen enough homogenization already.
