R.E.M.O.V.E concece penalty during casual matches

This is one of the most incomprehensible decisions to have a darn concede penalty on CASUAL matches. Not ONE single game I know EXCEPT ESO has a time penalty on a conceded match. And we're not even talking ranked matches here. Absolutely incomprehensible.

nah, too many people chasing for an easy win. Its not fair to the other person who got an advantage, the other concedes, and they get rematched immediately. Enjoy your penalty or hop characters.

Mh, I just don't understand what is so "unfair" about concede. It is absolutely a normal move in ANY card game or chess or similar matches. Nobody who made that claim ever could explain why they consider it to be "unfair". Specifically when you consider that - as you propose - you could just re-log.

Of course to simply get instant rematch against the same person is not a good thing but pretty unlikely. Actually, it rarely happens to me to get matched against the same person twice in a row.

There is no reason for the penalty. Just hopping to an alt allows for bypassing the penalty easily.

I suspect the concede penalty is there to prevent people from gaming the system and using ToT as an easy way to quickly amass mats through repetitive concessions with a friend, as that is predominantly what you get in the rewards.

Its possible, but if that was the case then the CD should be reduced to 1 or 2 minutes max, because you can farm the mats gained in a white container in that time (actually much much less).

That would work. But if there was no penalty, then you get mats as fast as a game can load and be conceded. After all, this is a game where people create bots to camp on harvesting nodes

I cant see this though, its so unlikely you will get matched with a friend. I have a couple TOT friends, and they play a lot. Its still rare we get matched together.

You don't get boxes when you concede. Well, at least I don't get boxes on concede.

Right, but I believe that is part of the penalty to prevent two people from getting together and repetitively conceding.

I've never challenged someone directly, though, like you can to trade, duel, etc. I've always gone through GF. Do you get a reward for beating someone you challenge directly?

Never tried it. Does not count for the dailies so I don't think that you get boxes for a direct challenge. If you duel somebody you don't get a reward either.

I'll have to try it out. You do get boxes from playing NPCs, whether its a daily or not
