Absolutely Wonderful! I cannot tell you how many Pug trials (I am mostly a Tank CP 3k+) i have been able to successfully run and teach others. It has given so many who may not want to speak up or may not want too or are too shy to chime in to join in an open Zone environment for a Trial the ability to click on Group Finder and Join. I run all Vet Trials and have taught so many vKA and vCR 0 and +1 without even needing Discord. Of course, you still run into some groups who cannot finish, and you recruit new players to finish but even that fills quickly when re listed in GF. I feel GF will become even more popular as time passes for Trials. I do not use it for anything else though. Good Job ZOS! Cheers

edit... And i encourage those still nervous to try TOO give it a try! You will more than likely have a good experience more times than not.

Yes, people took their time to start using it and during december it has become more and more fast and convenient.
Creating a group for a Trial is way faster now, it is also easier to create a group for Arenas & killing world bosses.
Like I said, it took nearly two months and now that it is used by many, it is a great tool. :)

When the Group Finder feature went live on Console my Trial participation skyrocketed, getting into groups has become incredibly easy for people like me who are without Guilds. It helped me run Rockgrove and Dreadsail Reef multiple times after having never even set foot in them before. This was a fantastic addition to the game.

THAT said. It's opened the door to more people who don't particularly like to or choose to listen to the Group Leader, and I've even found myself in groups that fail because we kept wiping on the final Boss to the point half the group just gives up and leaves. Making groups this easy to find and join creates a bigger disconnect between the players, they treat Trial groups now as Undaunted PuGs, a lot of people aren't taking Trials as seriously as they should.

That falls on the Group Lead though. If someone is acting up, they should be booted. It is that simple. I can tell you to fill 1 spot can take seconds literally. You can re-create the group wherever you are from booting someone to someone having a DC...

    Greetings,

After further review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic, as it's Trials related.

    Thank you for your understanding

I was a doubter when they announced GF for trials, but its been great. Now, that comes with the caveat that it has been great for VHRC, VAA, and even some VSS runs. Haven't seen much VCR or VSE on it, but have seen VDSR, VMOL, VRG, VKA, and VHOF. Those last 5 are still clusters, just like they always have been with pugs. VDSR, VHOF, and VMOL are and always will be a problem for players who haven't seen how the mechanics work in the game (versus a video or walkthrough). But VKA and VRG are not hard as long as players listen to the raid leaders and don't run wild. It can be very frustrating, but hopefully more exposure via GF will help. Have seem more "training" or "teaching" runs popping up for those trials, which players should take advantage of.

Big upside is I have only come across one troll, someone in VHRC who thought it would be fun to break the statues after dying his way through the trial. Group leader was asked to kick him early but didn't. Oh well, was just a plunder run anyway
