In my experience, if you get booted from the server for some reason, you just need to wait for several minutes before trying to log back in or else you'll keep getting the "account already logged in" error because the server still thinks you're logged in on your previous session. Eventually it will log your account out of that session for inactivity and then you'll be able to log back in successfully.

As for the Repair option, it doesn't always mean there's something wrong with your installation and you must repair it. In my experience, the best thing to do is just close everything, then reboot your computer just because sometimes that can help-- especially if you've got processes left open from when the game booted you from the server, or memory leaks, etc. If all else fails, then repairing the game might be necessary, but repairing should be your final choice rather than your first.

Edit-- Judging from this other thread, you weren't the only player who got booted, so there may have been issues on the server end, in which case waiting a bit is best. And if the launcher is having trouble connecting to the service so it can display the latest news announcements then that might be why you're getting Repair instead of Play:
