PC/EU Issues

Has anyone else been having issues with the EU server since the event started? My wife and I have both experienced a variety of issues. Crashes, huge lags. We switch to the PC/NA server and we have no problems, so that indicates there isn't any problem with our computers or network.

Examples:

Attempting to talk to Breda and no response to multiple attempts to turn in an event.

Attempting to fish in Shadowfen and not able to cast, or casting and never seeing a queue to catch the fish until eventually you get kicked out of fishing.

Attempting to engage the kagouti on the beach at the fishing site and nothing happening for an extended period of time, then suddenly battle happens in a flash and because you aren't fighting you're dead.

All of these have happened to us along with other events.

    I haven't had anything like that. I play from the US southwest over satellite - but I've not had problems at all with that sort of lag in this event or any other. And yes, I play on PC EU as well as NA, for hours every day.

    Additional examples:

    "YOU CAN"T MOUNT RIGHT NOW", eventually you may mount without further attempts, but it can be many seconds (estimated 20-30 seconds).

    Missing NPC for delivery of fish in Shadowfen. When attempting to /reloadui the game crashed.

    Attempts to travel to outside the Snow Globe resulted in no action. Tried multiple times. Went to the wayshrine and attempted to travel to Eastmarch and game crashed.

    I've had those issues mostly with pc-na over the last week or so at a worse rate than usual (eso can ordinarily be really bad).

    Despite resetting router, killing add-ons, updating drivers, repair install etc etc and even standing on one leg while whistling a tune backwards - nothing has helped the descynchs, lag and random disconnects. And the 'you cannot mount right now' message.

    It's less than hilarious to be told to check my internet connection when that's rock-solid, any other game or activity is seamless and lag free while eso still has all these problems.

    I might just note: I play on PC EU in my morning, which is prime time EU. On PC NA, I do not play prime time - it's still morning for me, and therefore mid morning to early afternoon on the server. i have zero issues on either server, over 3 accounts.

    i have had constant issue with pc eu so yah it's not just you. ty for making a post about it. Mostly it feels like i'm playing on a drunk server. Def not pleasant.

    I run 500 fiber and have notiticed similar issues. Lots of input lag, sometimes interacting with door is slow, abilities taking forever to fire, harvesting nodes will sometimes do nothing or it might take 5 seconds to pick a node. Ping is all over the place. My wife has the same issues on a different PC.

    This would leave me to believe its not a PC issue, but a net issue...however. I split time between two different countries 4k miles apart and I have the same issues on that PC, on that connection in one of the largest urban areas in the south of the USA.

    I've gone through all those troubleshooting efforts. Furthermore, if it were an issue with my systems I would expect the same behavior on PC/NA as on PC/EU, which is not the case. We haven't seen ANY of these issues on NA.

    Hmm. I have been on PC EU due to the event but not really hitting it hard, as my main focus has been on XBox EU and PC NA. No issues with Breda or swamp fishing in Shadowfen on any server. I just did that earlier today on PC EU.

    I am located in NA. My schedule has me on EU at a variety of times during the day. Sometimes in my morning, sometimes in my evening.

    For months I'm telling ZOS to compare the EU and NA software.

    I'm EU based and have all the difficulties to log on to the EU server.
    And when I succeed I can't travel/port to another region, which is very annoying with the actual event.

    And yes I flush, port forward, repair, sfc scan, delete shader etc. etc. name it.
    I even upgraded hardware no improvement.

    Errors are always the same '
    -can't connect to game server; make sure you have a working network (error no number)
    - or an error occurred, wait a few minutes to log back on again
    - or error 334
    And all that while you are logged on a toon but can't port to another region.

    Then out of frustration you go and play on the NA server and everything is fine.

    ZOS will you please come down from your pedestal and fix this.

    (btw don't forget to fix the in combat bug and the 5000 days debuf bugs too, those are coming from players playing in desync)
