Attn: ZOS; I'd pay 30,000 Crown for this!

I'd pay 30,000 Crown for being able to have more than 1 active companion!! 2 or 3 active companions would be great!! so I can run public and private dungeons.

I hate grouping up, I mean HATE it. Everyone who does dungeons never and I mean NEVER allows you to enjoy the story or look around for even a half second. I'd Like to just level my companions, gear them, and actually ENJOY the game. What do you want? $200? $300? I'll buy.

Oh god please no! Already too many companions running around.

Base game dungeons are quite doable with one companion (except those with mechanics requiring at least one more player).
Have you tried using group finder to organize a group for a story run? I know a lot of players are also interested in this. :)

I think there are too many toxic players running around vs companions. Agree to disagree.

I did and I the only one interested in story mode was my companion. I did get offers from people in-game trying to get me PAY for runs; as if that was what I was advertising. I am not incapable of doing the dungeon at lightening speed, I just don't want to. I'd rather just pay ZOS for more companions.

I know for sure, that there are guilds around, which specialize in doing story runs of dungeons and trials (the latter to a lesser extent tho). At least on pc eu.

Taking your time is common in those and membership is free of charge and usually without any obligations.

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.

That’s a shame! :( Are you on PC NA? There’s a Discord channel for setting up storymode dungeon runs although not super active lately, or perhaps we could organize something on the forum.
There’s a lot of cool details and extras you discover running a dungeon that way!

Why would you need more than one companion for just enjoying the story (meaning normal mode)?

Thinking that companions have no place in an MMO does not come anywhere near the realm of toxic. There's no call to get defensive.

MMO's are for finding other real live people to do things with. Plus, since ZOS started focusing on things like companions and housing has resulted in the actual game suffering in terms of performance and friendliness.

it would be fun doing dungeons with multiple companions.

if we were to ever get something like that i don't think it would cost crowns though

It would help those of us who don't like grouping do the tougher dungeons. Personally, I'd love to add the Moongrave Fane extension to the Hall of the Lunar Champion (I have the other 2 extensions), but I'm never going to get it, because that dungeon's out of my reach.

If you really want to play pay2win, I marked the solution for you.

Buy youself a crown pack (they are on sale atm), trade them in for gold and get yourself a carry.

I'd prefer if they were to add this function as a slotable CP star (with stages to allow more Companions to be active) in the Green CP tree (alongside slotables that can buff Companion damage output, resistance, etc.).

Why would I pay for a carry when all I want to do is enjoy the game without zip-zam-zoom gamers. That is the exact problem I am addressing... Factually, I'd rather see p2w than pay other players in game; BUT asking to pay for having more than one companion is NOT pay to win in my opinion. It's Pay to Not be Annoyed.

I agree, I hate grouping and have yet to do ANY Trials, Dungeons etc that requires groups. Folks don't want to teach newbies how to run the areas,, they just want to rush throught as fast as possible and get only what THEY need.
AAnd you could make it that if too many are on screen for a area, the game shuts them off.

Enjoy it then. What hinders you?

Normal dungeons (except direfrost and icp due to arbitrary mechanics) are already soloable rather easily if you build for it.

Pay me $300 and I'll pretend I'm a companion and attack whatever you need.

In the dungeon finder, this is often but not always the case. I would encourage you to join a guild or other group of people with similar interests.

I'd like to see companion cp perks because right now they're useless unless you're using pearlescent. Although I don't like IA iteration when they're unkillable and ruin any challenge whatsoever.

    Right, forgot about that.

Those dungeons should be changed imo, so they would be soloable too.

You must be at the top of the duo leaderboards in that case…

Companions can survive much in IA (for which I am grateful — they were actually useless before), but they are not unkillable, they cannot rez you, and certainly don’t remove all challenge, but definitely make it easier, as they should, and as does playing with a second player.

@Ironside I want to encourage you to reach out if you are on PC NA and I can connect you with a small but super friendly group I’m part of that does slow dungeon runs! The whole purpose of the run is to explore and do all the things you wouldn’t normally get time for and we notify each other if we find something to read or an NPC has additional dialogue not called out by a quest marker. :)
