that sounds real nice, a bit more configurable than the defaults

however, my main suggestion would be an option to display it as its own chat window, not in the main chat window, thats the biggest problem i have with the built in feed is that its in the main chat window

something i was looking for would be more like the scrollable combat log that is in the foundry tactical combat addon that is completely separate from the normal chat window

not sure how doable that is, but i think that is what most people would prefer instead of having it output in the main chat window

i dont have the ability to get on the game right now, but i did took a look at the screenshots on the esoui page to get a general sense of how it would look/work

i agree filtering down to specifically your guild/group/self would help a lot

though for self-only stats i tend to use killcounter for that, as it also tracks and shows analytics about my kill stats, and while this outputs in the chat window, since its self only i agree it doesnt spam so much you cant even read chat

i wouldnt mind seeing the full spam, but i would want to display it in a separate window instead of on the main chat, if you were able to add it as an option down the road

just my thoughts, or at least the way that i would want to use it (i already have a ton of misc windows for different addons displaying, but i have a 2k 38 inch monitor so i have the UI real estate to do so without it feeling too cluttered or blocking my view)

well i cant try it while im at work, and merely giving my opinion based on the provided description of functionality and screenshots

my opinion of it is if it only outputs to the main chat window and basically allows filtering of the built in kill feed, i dont see it providing much value to me, since i already use an addon that does similar (killcounter), and it would provide more value if i could get all of the functionality that your providing but in a separate window outside of the chat

i can try it later tonight when im home and in game, but it is unlikely my opinion will change after using it, but i can see the value potential in the functionality it is providing

i agree its not entirely the same thing and i understand your goal is to improve the built in kill feed

and for me, the biggest improvement to the built in kill feed would be outputting it in a window separate to chat (or like the top right notification scroll such as where it shows "gear repaired" or "target immune")

as a user, filtering the built in kill feed to the chat window seems too similar to what killcounter already does which is essentially filtering the kill feed, though it is providing its own instead of using the built in (since this addon existed years before the kill feed was even added)

im sorry for trying to be helpful and provide suggestions of future improvements because i am interested in the addon
