Kill Feed

I know we can turn it off, but holy hell there is so much spam in large cyro fights that the kill feed is completely useless for anything other than chat spam. Who on earth thought this was needed? At least change it to only include your *personal* kills/killers, not everyone in the general area.

I have to say, I tried it out today, first time. How does it even work? It seems only last player who ever so lightly touches the enemy before they die gets the „kill“? It’s beyond aggravating if you do most of the work but your name hardly gets on the board… I‘m going to turn it off and that’s that…

that kill feed only registers the killing blow

i agree having it output to the chat box is not helpful, there should be a different window for it, or like the normal notifications on the top right

i think the kill feed uses the "system" output so it cannot be turned off on the default chat tab, but you can always make another chat tab with everything but system so you can still see chat and then check the feed

if your on PC theres also addons that let you have multiple chat windows available to see both

The whole thing is poorly thought out. It allows people to hunt you down when they see your name in the feed, something I've personally felt a huge increase in since they added it. Wish there was a way to appear anonymously in the feed just as "Daggerfall warrior" or similar.

ZOS: I actually like the kill feed and do find uses for it.

Thank you for providing the option to turn it off so people can still complain.

I like having it because it allows me to anticipate which groups are in the vicinity during a fight.

I think that's actually an interesting idea for an option though to be honest I by really enjoy it as is

It helps me find fights and I enjoy the clear feedback when I'm on a killing spree.

The other day someone was like hey that group totally killed you. I was in a 2vx and replied yeah but I killed 11 of them before they got me one. Couldn't be so accurate without the feed.

I also had a friend that had to turn it off because he didn't like seeing how many times he was actually getting killed so I can see how some like it and some don't.

Oh and I've also had at least one person say I whispered you and you missed it so again I can see where some would want it off though I do certainly enjoy the feature.
