Can I deconstruct a mythic item and get my transmute crystals back?

See subject line. I cannot figure out how to do this if it's an option like it is for non-mythic reconstructed items. They are not locked yet do not show up as available to deconstruct at crafting tables.

I've got several I'm not using and would love to get them back!

    mythic items cannot be deconstructed (ive heard mixed reports that some people were able to in the past, but as of right now they definitely cannot)

    if you recreate mythic items the transmutes are effectively gone

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    Thanks, I thought that was what it was but was hoping not.

    If you submit a support ticket and explain that the reconstruction was done in error they may reimburse you the transmute crystals after you destroy the item. You've got to be really convincing though.

    Once upon a time there was a rare glitch where some people could. There was a silent patch for it a long time back.i know i could at one time. Id use them to store transmute. Ido it witg my monster helms now.

    That's what confused me. I had thought I recalled being able to do that a long time ago. I hadn't tried in a while and when I did I couldn't.

    Yeah. It was really rare. Me and a buddy both did that for a while then a some point we just couldnt anymore. I honestly do not understand the rational for it being that way.
