Did surprise attack have an animation change resulting in one quarter of the damage being eliminated on top of another flat damage reduction while still being effected by Major and Minor Evasion? Can't forget the new class that was released making minor evasion everywhere due to what the class provides as a buff.
Magnum shot isn't even a spammable and surprise attack can guarantee a crit while being single target.

Can you atleast make it so it's not counted as AOE damage since Major and minor evasion reduces the damage into nothing!
OR you could buff the damage of jabs by 10% cause this is getting totally stupid to be honest. Templar's ONLY source of Major sorcery is gained from a skill that has turned into basically crap!
Why don't you just adjust things that players give feedback for? What are your reasons?

The point is not to remove the AoE bit, it's to treat the single target damage portion as such. Because that's what Jabs is, a single target skill with splash damage, not an AoE skill.
The ST damage bit should not be affected by minor/major evasion

Have I got used to the new one to the point I no longer notice it? Yes!
My main is a Templar and has been since late 2014(my first character was a sorc), over the last nine years every class has had buffs and nerfs, Templar is no different but I've always just stuck with her.
I like solo-ing stuff, if I want a huge pile of bodies(trash mobs) fast then I'm sorry but jabs just has to be on my bar!! Nothing beats running through a four man, aggro-ing all the mobs and then killing them all, it always makes me smile.
Over the last couple of weeks I, like everyone, else have been experimenting with EA.
I have a HA Sorc which was my first choice to try due to high damage but to my surprise my Templar is now my character of choice and I think that jabs is high on the list as to the reason why, the stages become boring fast, I can clear them faster using jabs. 🙂
