Stealthing out and going "hidden" in the Endless Archive killed me

Is this a bug? I went through a portal, killed the first wave of the stage, and then realized my fifth piece bonuses weren't active (due to the bug where you lose them when you take part in an unknown portal where you're transformed into the book or the goat) - so I went to stealth out so I could remove the fifth pieces and put them back on to re-enable them and it sucked me through the floor, returned me to the index chamber, and took my last thread away. I have a video.
Is stealthing out supposed to kill you in the Endless Archive?

That bug is been fixed by ZOS, you don't need anymore to remove gear (btw you are transformed in a watcher, not in a book).Man did not weave the web of life – he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself1 -

Its not fixed on console, it is a known bug currently in the patch notesSoupy twist0
