Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.

✭✭Arc 5+Week one my group of Necros got to 198,000 score, unfortunately it didn’t stick for duos.
I did break through for solo with a 92,000 and got a meager 10 transmutes and a tempering alloy.
After I got those two scores, I haven’t really been back since. I don’t know what it is, but I just have minimal interest in the game right now… like the content is fun, and I have to admit this is the best PvE that I feel has been released but there is zero drive right now for me.6 -

If by arc 2 you mean ran screaming for the portal back to turn in the quest, then you are technically correct. If however you meant even trying a few arc 2 fights, you would be wrong.16 -

✭✭Arc 1I won't be doing EA anymore as I'm obviously not the intended audience. Tried arc 1 a couple of times, got to the third boss (I was lucky with the first 2 bosses).
But I can safely say that if EA is any indication of what we can expect in future content, ESO is no longer a game for me. Losing a quest DLC for this was not worth it for me.17 -

✭✭✭✭✭Arc 4I started but didn't beat Arc 4. I have the dye for reaching Arc 4 though. I'm not sure if you meant how far did you reach or what was the highest level you completed. So, I voted for reached since there is a dye attached to that (which is the main achievement award I wanted). I got there on my second tried but haven't made a serious attempt to beat my best since then because of the time investment. I probably will after the event is over. Until then, I'm mostly just doing the dailies.

✭✭Arc 3I've been to Arc 3 twice, both times with another player. The first time we couldn't beat Tho'at, and the second time we lost all of our threads on a bugged Zhaj'hassa.
These days I just go in myself with a companion since that's a quick in and out, and since I've gotten all of the side room achievements, all I'm really doing is Arc 1 for the daily. I can't beat Arc 2 Tho'at without another player, so I won't be getting any farther unless someone volunteers to carry me.

three times i got quite far into arc 3.
once with a companion and twice with a player.
the last time was with another player and we got to arc 3 cycle 5 i believe. the Fabled totem masters and the flame marauder were what we died to.
i've never been able to defeat the flame marauder at all, not even in arc 2.
and tho'at in arc 2.

Am in no rush to try it and as a solo player, probably won't enjoy it if I do. I've yet to see anyone actually find it 'endless', with only 3 deaths and no saves, even the passing of time halts your progress eventually.I won't be doing EA anymore as I'm obviously not the intended audience. As far as the game in general, I'm finding that DLC zones are basically empty unless there is an event on for that zone. Not sure if this is because people are doing the next event or just feel no need to go the specific places. Maybe there are too many zones or too many events.Australian on PS4 NA server.

M1SHAAN✭✭✭✭Arc 3I've mostly been doing duo runs with baby characters that struggle to reach Tho'at 2. We've done two runs with our more built characters and wiped on Tho'at 3 both times. For context I consider myself a "wannabe tryhard" because I've been putting a lot of time and effort into having better dps but am still solidly mediocre by all metrics.2

Do you not think you're being a bit harsh/selfish, considering every other piece of new content for a long time has been geared towards a story type player, such as yourself?
You've already had a story DLC earlier this year, what have non story players had? Let alone PvP players etc.7
