Porting to friend or guild member in Blackwood causing disconnect.

For a few days now, when I port to blackwood using a guilding or a party member or a friend I often get disconnects and I get an error message saying "Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection."
UPDATE: just used a wayshrine to port to blackwood from eldenroot, same issue. I got timed out and the error message. I am using Game Consultant ATM to check file integrity.
I wonder if its a port thing issue. I dunna, I am not good with that stuff.

I have not had any issues porting anywhere else in game. I also tried a wayshrine to Blackwood yesterday and it failed as well.
I made sure the launcher exe was in the firewall pass through list thing and I even had the time out going to blackwood after that.
I am not entirely convinced it's an ESO issue though. My wife and I play in the same room on the same connection (we are on a switch that is fed to the router which is then fed to the street) and she has not had the issue. That being said, I play more than her so I have a greater likelihood of encountering the issue.
