The breath is really dangerous in this fight, you have to pay attention when he flies. I usually don't bother with the atros a lot for this reason and just keep tracking the dragon. But I save my ulti, so when he lands I can damage the atros then.

I will keep it in mind. How to spot that breath? Normally, breath attacks make a conal dangerous color(default is red but mine is pink) area coming from the monster's mouth. I haven't seen such dangerous color areas, I've only seen some AOEs around ice spikes. Other than them, everywhere looks frozen and having icy smoke around.(As far as I can remember)

It doesn't have a warning telegraph, once the dragon is in the sky he will fly for a few seconds and then will sweep and breath a streak of lightning across the floor. You can keep an eye when he's flying, and when he's about to swoop down, position yourself on a different angle. I usually stay near the edge during that phase, because I find it less dangerous than sitting in the middle, and even if the end of the strike happens to fall at that part of the edge, it's easier to side step it, if that makes sense, than side stepping it in the middle. Once you get used to tracking the dragon it will be easier to avoid the streak.
