Please bring them back. I had so much fun again over the deathmatch weekend. And afterwards have not logged on to actually play anything since. I feel like it's such a drop in fun factor hoping to get a dm match at such a low rate. Love all the aspects to play pvp and pve but lately with limited time it was so nice to just jump in to action and maximize my time online.

Well then I must be in the minority. 😀
But I do agree 100% that there should be a separate deathmatch queue. That would definitely help keep flag games from turning into deathmatches.

DM needs to be its own queue and random needs to not be connected to the DM queue / have DM in it.

I know this has been brought up in the past; and usually the first thing that gets brought up is more division among the already sparse PVP player base. (longer queue times)
That aside: I support the option. I don't really see the harm in at least trying it.
If queue times become excruciating - great, then we simply remove the option.
Just one benefit (among many) is those of us who like to stand on flags, can do so. Kill counters can have their fun as well.
Why not try it for a month ZOS, get some feedback - then decide to adjust/remove or sustain/anchor from that.
