Transmute Crystals in Endless Archive?

For those of you that enjoy running Endless Archive, would you like to see transmute crystals as a potential rewards in Endless Archive chests?

I would prefer to be offered a way to consume transmute crystals in Endless Archive. Capping it as a currency that will one day be useless is a pain in the ass

I'm unsure about this.

A part of me is outright saying: Sure, gimme my transmutes.

Another is concerned about the existing queues for dungeons and PvP, which are at least partly lively because of the exclusivly high amount of transmutes you get out of them. I'm not sure, if we should touch that.

I used to stress over having enough of these seeing as I only PvE, now I just go repair walls in PvP land in the off hours. I get plenty without having to fight, and when using 12 characters I end up with a good amount at months end.

They could offer them to those that need another source, but it is not necessary for me.

Currency caps in the game are annoying in general - I think the solution to that is lifting the cap; don't think people would care about that otherwise. Maybe one day they finally will!

No. The transmute crystals are helpful to draw people into activity finder and Cyrodiil, both of which are things that need large populations to be healthy.

Endless Archive is solo content (or duo) content, and already pretty rewarding, so it doesn't need the help.

I have got a mail from Master Malkhest today talking about my activity in endless archive containint 10 transmutes and a piece of sorc set.

So OP it seems transmutes are awarded from the leaderboards on Endless Archive, just for existing on those leaderboards (I only got like 2-3 stages deep into arc 2 last week, with a companion, so couldn't be anywhere high on those)

I got two mails today, each containing 10 geodes and each included a gold nightblade gear piece. I was not expecting that. Nice surprise.

Yeah, you don't have to get many points to get the mails for the weekly and they have separate mail for completing it solo vs duo.

So, if you want to get lots of easy transmutes/items from EA (You can get duplicates as the mail is not curated) you can just kill one boss solo and exit and post the score then kill one boss with a companion and exit and post the score then hop to the next character.

I would note however, you'd likely want to set yourself to offline so your guild doesn't get spammed with messages with your low scores.

this. i mean yah sure i can farm mats with transmute crystals but i'd prefer not having another source of those things as i am ofetn forced to deal with the cap placed on them. already have enough managemnt chores to cope with.

Thanks for the tip. Right now I only have one character really and have been doing it with a companion. I have only really just begun to actively collect the item sets, so not interested in transmuting anything at the moment.

I will keep that in mind about my guild members potentially being spammed with my low scores.

Got a couple of emails today from my minor dabblings in EA. Nice to have another source of transmute crystals. Will have to try out the Monolith of Storms and see if it's as bad as everyone say it is.

I also received some. I got two geodes with 10 each for my first little foray into the EA. I am happy to get them as I have very few (haven't been playing long) and really need to change many traits on my gear. I empathize, though, with all the players who are maxed out on transmutes and have no reason to want them. ZOS really needs to address this.

Yes, that would be nice! Though I can use the transmutes I think it would be more fair to the people who are maxed out on them if ZOS would implement EA currency as the reward in place of them.

Yes, give transmute crystal rewards. Not everyone can afford to do daily random and certainly not all dungeons (mostly DLC dungeons) are doable with group members you don't know.
