Jewely writs after 40

So I have a lot of jewelry writs, the writ totals shouldn't change so a 60 writ should still yield 60 writs but will it take more platings? And if so how many? I have mostly blue but some purple and I'm thinking of spending a good chunk of gold to buy a gold writ. I want to buy a transmute station and am just trying to decide whether is better to get what I can now or wait until after the update on the console to fulfill the writs.

    Greetings,

After further review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic, as it's related to crafting.

    Thank you for your understanding

    it'll take more platings yes.
but platings are easier to get.

and if you have 4 iridium platings before update 40 you'll have 40 after as every plating turns into 10.
and every grain turns into one plating so if you have some grains you'll have even more platings.

it's better to wait because you'll get more platings after update 40 so you'll be able to do more writs than now.

I have several gold quality jewelry writs sitting in my bag just hoping for the day the crafting gets cheaper. Hundreds of vouchers worth just waiting.
