Duel-Wield Attacks are Broken

There is already a thread on this but i wish to re-iterate. The light attacks from the DW skill line are doing close to DOUBLE the damage on EACH light attack than the COMBINED TOTAL of a fully charged Heavy attack weave. This has been a bug since the changes to light attcks last month. CAN WE GET A DEV to help us please? This is a core combat abilty bug which effect every player and should be addressed. To clarify, the fully charged heavy's are doing half the damage they should. Light attk damage is correct

    I don't know how to tell you this, but this is not a bug, nor is it PvP specific.

    ZoS did a "rebalance" of Light and Heavy Attacks during update 34 or 35 (I can't remember which off of the top of my head). In that update they nerfed both Heavy and Light Attacks by varying amounts. Dual-Wield Heavies got the brunt of the nerf.

    Then in the next update they upped Light Attack Damage by 50%...

    So basically ZoS did this by design, for some reason.

    Seems like an oversight though, considering a fully charged dual wield heavy attack barely does more damage than a dual wield light attack, often less than 10%.

    Yes. It is a massive oversight. I would wager it's due to reaction-based balancing that tends to overshoot problems rather than thinking carefully about how changes affect the overall health of the game. But I am just speculating.

    Id love to have dual heavies unnerfed, it was always a great move in pvp.
