Crown gifting

Trying to make sure I have this right. I’m not an active player at the moment but do still login almost daily. I have let my ESO plus subscription expire until I become active in the game again. I “donate” crown prizes to guild auctions occasionally and now see that my account is not eligible to gift crowns.
Hmmm. The crowns I have came from plus or from purchasing crown packs through steam. But now I see I have to either restart plus subscription or buy another crown pack to gift the crowns I’ve already purchased. What????

Somewhere in there, ZOS_Kevin mentioned one of the eligibility requirements to be able to gift is to be "active", which by your own description, you are not. The thread also addresses how to appeal your gifting status.
