Antiquity leads from maps not dropping?

All the other necrom and Telvanni leads are working just fine, its only the Apocryphal Well leads that are buggy. I literally burned through hundreds of maps without a single lead after 3/9 codex. It is impossible that this could somehow still be "in the odds" of rng.

That is my experience as well.

I completed the first well with nothing that stood out like too 'lucky' or too 'unlucky' but the moment I completed the antiquity the leads completely dried out.

I got plenty of stained window leads from the chests - to the point that I stopped digging them out altogether - and a few of the fossil ones but not a single well lead.

I have stopped now because even though map prices did predictably drop due to the event it feels like just throwing the gold down a well (pun maybe intended).

Dont dig up Antiquities you got leads for that you arent looking for out of map chests. That way they arent diluting your rng pool since youcant get the same one 2x at once

I've heard from a few different places that it doesn't work like that. RNG still picks out of all the possible leads from that location, and if it's one you've kept you just get nothing at all when you would have got a duplicate lead.

I have heard the opposite but honestly doesnt hurt to try unless you want multiples of those items.

If you don't dig up a lead you don't need, it removes it from the pool of leads you can dig up, which means the next lead you get is one you will be needing. I managed to dig up all the Necrom treasure map leads this way.

There is a bug with the second and third codex leads that make them much harder to obtain that the first ones you get. They are aware of this, and hopefully have a fix for it sooner than later.

When I collect my treasure maps, I make sure to dig up any open leads before hands. Only the basic greens are left.
This way I usually have a one in three to one in two drop rate.

Maybe ya'll need to do that too?
If anyone here says: OH! But, PVP! I swear I'll ...

Thank you for the valuable input and respectfully recommend to discuss that aspect of ESO on the PVP forum.

I'm still waiting for them to fix the stuck in combat bug and achievements not unlocking...
