Pulled From The Depths Achievement

I've fished up the lurker spawn a couple times now and have the Necrom Master Angler achievement; however, each time I've fished up the spawn, no Lurker has actually spawned and thus I have been unable to kill it and get the achievement granted. Anyone had any experience with this issue as well, or just me?

The lurkers can spawn from any fishing hole in Apocrypha. They aren't restricted to specific ones.

The lurker spawn is a rare fish that can also be given after defeating the lurker. You just need to keep fishing in Apocrypha

How do you know you've fished up a spawn if no Lurker has actually spawned?
That doesn't sound right.

i dont think that theyre connected. one is a trophy fish. the other is an enemy spawn while fishing.

i got this https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Pulled_from_the_Depths a few days ago. i was fishing in apocrypha and a lurker jumped out of the water and attacked me. when i killed it the achievement popped. i already had the necrom master angler one, dunno if the lurker i killed for the achievement dropped it's eponymous fish.

That makes sense - the blue fish is literally called lurker spawn so I assumed you woudl see the lurker actually spawn, but they're 2 separate events. Just gunna keep fishing

Believe me, when the Lurker actually spawns... you will know!

What you will get is a Lurker that catapults itself out of the water and *immediately* attacks you! Not a fish, but a real live (well pixel live...), big nasty Lurker!

It took me several evenings and hours fishing up and down various lakes in Apocrypha until the first one popped up. After that I kept getting it around every third or fourth fishing hole... ^^;;

i think you can get any trophy fish from the lurker (enemy)

i personally happened to get the lurker spawn (trophy fish) from the lurker (enemy) when i got the achievement

Same here — and then Sharp called it a gorgeous catch and would suggest eating it if it wasn’t worth so much — and looking at the lurker we’d just slain, that made me laugh!
