    you can preview placement of furnishings in houses since update 39.

    so you can actually rotate it when previewing the furnishing from the housing editor purchase tab

    It’s an awesome and much appreciated feature, but it would be great if the default preview was also an informative view, especially when one is considering buying furnishings or plans from a trader.

    it would be nice if the default preview allowed vertical rotation instead of just horizontal
