In the game when exploring on the coast side... when ever my character swims into the ocean, something ends up killing her within 4 hits. In other games (such as gw2 and world of warcraft) this doesn't happen when swimming in the ocean or in deep lakes..
Why can't my character swim into the ocean unlike in other online games? What is destroying my character? How do I destroy that sea monster?

SpiritKitten✭✭✭✭✭It's either slaughter fish or tentacles. You can't defeat it. The devs put that there to prevent you from going outside the game world boundary.

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them
