Necrom Structural pieces are Very Thick

I've gotten a few patterns for walls and stairs and the pieces are extremely thick. I haven't tried to construct anything yet but feel this will greatly hinder fitting pieces together well. I really don't want structures with 10 foot thick walls.

Has anyone built anything with these yet? Any tips to offer?

I haven't built anything with these yet. But, I when I encounter thick pieces, I tend to find places I can sink them in if they are too thick. You can also take advantage of thick walls to better hide other things you want sunk in, so they make great ceilings/second floors.

This link shows one of the wall pieces. I can't figure out how we could fit these together to make a room because the huge stone backs wouldn't even fit together at the corners.

What do they think we can build with that, besides a bunker?

The only use I see for this is changing the look of an inn-room wall.

Wow, those are ridiculously thick. I hadn't built anything with them yet, so I was picturing like the Alinor Ballroom floor. But that's oddly shaped and super thick.

I like it that the new structual furnishings are so massive, its nice to cover huge areas while building. Thats especially practical when there is a lot of ground with grass, rocks or ruins.

A couple days ago, I used some on an experimental build at grand topal. Of the ones that I used, they fit together well enough. I noticed the top of the walls are like a floor and include a thin extension which covers the seams. I mainly worked with the corners, the walls, the archway.

While I noticed how thick they are, I mainly wondered if this would block light from leaking through the wall. I ran out of time before I could check that.

These structural pieces would probably work for the houses that don’t have actual houses on them, like Moon-Sugar Meadow and Coldharbour Estate, but I bet they are too big for other properties.

Back on the PTS, I checked to see if this would block light. It doesn't. :/

I'm just starting to experiment with it. The purchase of all the elements schemes of the architecture cost 20 million, but already now I see problems connecting them. I will follow this discussion

when I printed out these walls and put them next to me, I realized that I couldn't build anything. They are very big. Need a different construction mode, need a free camera mode to increase the field of view

Theyre great for huge 700 slot houses. Good for reskinning smaller houses too.

I really like that you can block space with bigger stuctures (and for some notable houses you really need to in order to make your build more cohesive and detailed) but they can be tricky to place, at least with gamepad UI, because they take up the view, so you either have to move far back and miss details or do some guess work with placement.

These seem more like outer city walls or fort walls. That thickness is meant to withstand a projectile battering.

The Necrom structural furniture is really great for open areas such as Moon-Sugar Meadow, Coldharbour Surreal Estate, Hunter's Glade, etc where you have free rein to build something original. The pieces are so big that very few are required to cover a large area. I am using Necrom structures in my Moon-Sugar Meadow and it only has about 600/700 slots taken up as of taking these pictures. Every building is accessible, some have multiple floors and they all have actual windows.
