Unable to Trade, Send Mail or Access Guild Bank & Stores

Since the other day, I couldn't send any mail. I can't access my guild's bank, and I also can't access the guild stores of my trading guilds.

I'm also unable to trade with people, so I had to stop helping people who wanted to farm gear 'cause I'll just be a waste of gear drops.

I just noticed this the other day when I first sent a support ticket for the issue, so I'm not sure what triggered this or what I did or if it's a bug.

I'm sure I didn't do anything to result to a trading ban. The only thing I remember that MAY have caused this is I got a gold refund from someone who I bought Crownstore items from, but I wasn't able to receive the item due to the changes with Crownstore gifting. I told him about it and when the item was returned to him, he decided to refund my gold payment.

The item was gifted to me before September 1st, but I kept it in there since I wanted to open it on my main character. I forgot about it, and only remembered when I read the news about the Crownstore gifting pause.

Aside from this, I know I haven't done anything wrong to result to a trading ban.

It's such a hassle since I'm the GM of a guild with 400+ member on PC/NA. I can't send guild mail which I usually do when we have a lot of weekly events happening.

I'll also get kicked out of my trading guilds since I won't be able to meet the weekly requirements 'cause I can't access the guild stores.

I hope someone can help me with this since it's been a few days already and I'm not getting any helpful answers via Customer Support.

Has anyone experienced this issue? I've tried reloading UI, restarting my ESO & my laptop, disabling addons, etc (as suggested by CS), but nothing worked.

This does sound like a social ban but wouldn't the OP have received notification of action on their account?

This exact thing happend me like a year ago, they answered my support ticket and said they adjusted something in my account.
    Have been working fine since.
I think it took a few days from when I sent ticket till it was fixed

    @XSTRONG

Did you get a notice as @SilverBride has suggested?

I ask as I do not think it is the case since very thread I have seen on this topic has not know what happened unless it happened to them before. It would be nice to know.

Thank you for responding. Now we know social bans do not get a notice and we should just ask the person to send in a ticket.

This does sound like a social ban but wouldn't the OP have received notification of action on their account?

No. Social bans are when an automated process detects activity that it thinks is suspicious, such as gold selling or mail spam or other exploits. These accounts are often unmonitored and run by bot farms. ZOS does not want to send notifications to alert the people behind these accounts. The social ban cuts the account off from the wider community but the account can superficially look like it is still working, delaying the time before the scammers shut the account down and start up a new scam account.

Sometimes these processes make mistakes, but ZOS would rather have 1 legit player ask for help while 999 scam accounts think they are still working, than save the 1 legit player an extra email but alert the 999 scam accounts that they are effectively dead and should spin up a new account.

I hope this will be the case with my issue. It's been 2-3 days already, and I've been getting the templated responses so far.

It does look like a social/trading ban, and I didn't get any notification so I'm not really sure what happened or what resulted to this.

I'll keep on responding to their support emails to me to ensure the ticket doesn't get closed without it being resolved.

I just hope it'll be fixed ASAP since we have guild events happening this October. :'(

I just saw their response to my support ticket saying that they made a "slight adjustment" to my account, similar to @XSTRONG. I tested sending mail, trading and accessing guild bank/stores and they all seem to be working now.

Not sure if this post helped speed up the action, but glad they fixed it.

We appreciate the update on this situation. As the OP can now interact after the account changes, this thread will be closed going forward.
