Is it laggy for anyone this morning?

Is something going on server wise?
Names of locations and UI words are a bunch of random lets and symbols and there’s lots of lag from bar swapping and skills firing and this is in overland. Even opening a container takes a couple seconds before it pops up

    Platform and server?

    No problems for me on PC EU and NA, playing from the UK. Overland running normally. No add-ons.

    Edit: if you have code corruption in the form of names not displaying properly you might want to do a file repair.

    Ps-na was incredibly laggy for me the last three days. Seemed more pronounced in boss fights in dungeon. Speedtested my internet, it was at ~700 MBps. This morning seemed better but still was experiencing some skills not firing.

    With any latency or lagging issues, I would recommend following the steps in this article to try and ensure an optimal connection with the server.

    If you are experiencing corrupted text and a restart of your system does not resolve it, then indeed you may want to perform a game file repair.

    I haven't had any lag beyond my normal satellite issues at all today - neither PC NA nor EU.

    Why was this moved to PC Technical Support? The lag is across platforms and my issue was for PlayStation.

    I appreciate your reply, but the solutions provided don't work and historically never worked for me. I'm on PlayStation so much of that troubleshooting cannot be done - like using the "/latency" command. Seems like it's more of a problem with the skill system than individual installation or network configurations.

    They always drop that stupid link. V. Annoying and dismissive. As if you didn't try basic stuff first. And thats the extent of 'troubleshooting' you;ll see.

    Ever since 39 I am getting awful lag spikes at random times on both EU & NA PC.

    I actually called my ISP who confirmed I was losing packets, so I'm going to have to take fault here. Once that's resolved, I can revisit the skill lag input issue, which predates that, and file a ticket after.

    ISP came out, confirmed I have 1.2 GBps download and no packet loss. Skills still lag, rest of game performance is better. What’s support going to do about skills needing multiple presses to activate?

    Support can check the diagnostic files you would send in and see if their is any other reason for the skill lag besides connection issues.
